As Chief Operating Officer at Summit, your role is central to our company’s efficiency and growth, especially as we venture into international markets. You will manage teams, lead review meetings, track performance, and drive key growth projects. Your main focus will be on implementing and executing our vision across the organization, ensuring that all teams are aligned and tasks are completed effectively. You will report directly to the CEO, playing a crucial role in coordinating actions and decisions that shape the future of Summit. This role requires a practical, action-oriented approach and strong organizational skills.

Your responsibilities as a Chief Operating Officer would include

• Manage Teams and People: Directly oversee various teams within the organization, ensuring effective management and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Manage projects across the organization: Take charge of executing key projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the set objectives.
• Hands-On Execution: Directly engage in and drive the completion of key tasks and initiatives. This involves rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in the nitty-gritty, ensuring that critical deliverables are not just delegated but personally overseen and brought to fruition.
• Provide visibility for the CEO/Board: Ensure the CEO has clear visibility on all operational aspects, from team performance to project progress.
• Conduct Review Meetings: Regularly organize and lead review meetings, focusing on assessing progress, addressing challenges, and aligning team efforts with company goals.
• Own Performance Dashboards: Develop and maintain performance dashboards, providing a clear view of key metrics and insights for informed decision-making.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in leadership and project management roles.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability in leading teams and executing strategic initiatives.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English; proficiency in French is preferred.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Industry Passion (Preferred): A strong passion for the Web3 and blockchain space.
• Attitude: A 'can-do' approach, with a proven track record of getting things done efficiently and effectively.
• Ideal Backgrounds: Experience in project management, product management, management consulting, or a COO role.
• Be available for business trips. The duration of the trips might be up to 7 days in a raw. 
• Be familiar with CRM systems like HubSpot and project/team management systems like ClickUp.
• Ready to work in remotely. All team works remotely without any office. 
• Flexible working hours. There might be cases when the person should be available evenings and weekends at least to reply quick messages from C-level.
• Crypto knowledge. To believe in crypto industry.

1. First Interview: initial 30-min discussion to get to know each other and see if we can be a good fit.
2. Second Qualification Interview: In this initial stage, we assess the candidate's background fit and potential for the role. This interview aims to understand their previous experience and how it aligns with the responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer at Summit.
3. Case Study: Candidates who progress past the first interview will participate in a timed case study. This stage is designed to evaluate their problem-solving and strategic abilities in a practical setting. It provides an opportunity for candidates to showcase their skills in a scenario that reflects real-world challenges they might face in the role.
4. Final Interview with the CEO: Applicants who successfully complete the case study will be invited to a final round interview with the CEO. This crucial interview is an opportunity to discuss the candidate’s vision, their fit with the company’s goals, and how they can contribute to the future of Summit. It's a chance to connect on a strategic level and ensure alignment with the company's direction and ethos.
